Sandra Delia

Graveside services will be held Tuesday November 25th 2025 at Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula for Sandra Mayo Delia, 84, of Ocean Springs MS who passed away on Monday November 17th after a brief illness.
Sandy was a 1959 graduate of Hattiesburg High School where she was a member of the Red Cross Council, the Y Teens, Tigerettes, and on the annual staff her senior year. She never missed a class reunion and remained close to many of her high school classmates.
Sandy attended USM, where she met her first husband, Al Delia. She is survived by their two sons, Alex Delia (Pam), and Paul Delia, a brother, Dennis Mayo (Bonnie), and a sister, Amy Mayo Wagers (Donny). She has four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and five nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents, "Snooks" and J.O. Mayo. She survived two later husbands, Trent Burrell and Glenn Barkley, and longtime companion Cletus Babin.
Sandy was the personnel director at Ingalls Shipbuilding until her retirement and moved to Ocean Springs. She enjoyed volunteering at local events, going on cruises, baking bread, and, most of all, taking care of her pets over the years as well as the local stray cats and raccoons.
A celebration of life will follow the service.
