Edward Johnson

Edward Lavon Johnson was born on November 16, 1953, to Arabell Magee and Charlie Blakely in Hattiesburg, MS. Edward entered eternal life on November 3, 2025, at the age of 71. Edward’s life was marked by love for his family and the many friendships he nurtured over the years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arabell Magee and Charlie Blakely; his brother, Charles Cole; and his sisters, Dorothy Cole, Thelma Johnson, and Georgia Newsome. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion and kindness, survived by his daughter, Camita Johnson; his sons, Terrance Whigham and Kevin Williams; his brothers, Ronald Johnson and Bobby Johnson; his sister, Geraldine McSwain; as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish his memory. Edward will be remembered for his strength, his laughter, and the love he shared with all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
